Biography
Graham Kramer is an American entrepreneur and the founder and chief executive officer of Fantom, an aerospace, defense and robotics company headquartered in Stowe, Vermont.
Kramer founded Fantom in 2026 around a single conviction: that the next great defense company would not be defined by any one platform, but by how completely it owns the design, the intelligence and the manufacturing. Fantom is vertically integrated by design — airframes, autonomy, flight computer, avionics and mission software all developed in house.
The centre of gravity is Fantom Defense: a family of uncrewed air, ground and maritime systems for American and allied forces — among them WRAITH, a tailless collaborative combat aircraft, and GRIM, a wheeled-leg ground robot. One autonomy stack, one supply chain, built to be produced at rate on American soil.
The same stack carries into robotics. UNIT 01 is a full-size humanoid built for the dull, dirty and dangerous work people should not have to do — logistics, materials handling and repetitive industrial tasks — on sale now against a refundable deposit.
And it began in the air. The Fantom X is a single-seat, zero-emission eVTOL engineered around the FAA Part 103 ultralight envelope — the regulatory category that permits flight without a pilot’s licence. Designing to an existing framework rather than pursuing new certification is the deliberate shortcut: it compresses the path from concept to a flyable, ownable aircraft from decades to months.
Before Fantom, Kramer spent his career turning ambitious companies into category leaders across consumer, entertainment and technology. Fantom is the first he has built from the frame up.

Kramer was Chief of Branding at Allergan, and a strategic member of the executive team — led by chief executive Brent Saunders — behind the company’s approximately $60 billion sale to AbbVie, a transaction carrying roughly $20 billion in consumed debt.
It remains the clearest through-line in his work: taking a company with real substance and giving it a position the market can actually understand. Fantom applies the same instinct to hardware — only this time the product, the intelligence and the story are all built in the same building.
